And outside of a teaser showing a helicopter going into a city and a few small tidbits, there hasn’t been much news on that front. It’s been a very, very long time since we got the announcement that Rick Grimes would be in his own trilogy of movies. And, the chief content wizard (a made up yet fun title by yours truly) behind the Walking Dead universe, Scott Gimple, gave some Rick Grimes and Michonne answers at the end of panel, complete with a new spinoff series and a big surprise. While we love to see fun clips and actor chatter, there were still a few questions on fans’ minds about Rick Grimes. And several members of The Walking Dead‘s current cast and crew came together for the show’s final panel.
